1999-Nov
18-19, With the collaboration of UNESCAP and assistant of Ministry
of Transport, MIFFA held the National Workshop on the Development
of Freight Forwarding and Multimodal Transport in Yangon, Myanmar.

2003-
Sept 5, MIFFA is the active member of Working Group of Education
and Training of AFFA.
-
2003- Nov 27, MIFFA attended the UNESCAP,
Asia-Pacific Regional Forum of Freight Forwarders and Multimodal
Transport Operators was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

2003- Dec 04-06, MIFFA attended the 13th AGM of AFFA was held
in Manila, Philippine and sponsored to hold 14th AGM in Myanmar
as Host Country.

2004-
Jan 28, MIFFA held the Explanation Section on UNESCAP Forum
of Nov 27,2003 at MIFFA venue and the members of MIFFA, Customs
Broker Association and Myanmar Mercantile Marine Association
were participated.

MIFFA
is drafting the Standard Trading Conditions according to the
International Conventions on Carriage of Goods by Sea, Air,
ASEAN Agreement on Multimodal Transport, FIATA model and members
of AFFA.

To institute training program of Train
to Trainer and apply training materials of UNESCAP and FIATA.

To participate GMS
Working Groups Member organized by UNESCAP and ADB, subject
on “Facilitating the Cross-Border Government of Goods
and People in Greater Mekong Sub-region” on 24-27 Feb,
Bangkok, Thailand.

To invite UNESCAP
for TOT AFFA first Training will be held in Myanmar.
Hosting AFFA 14th AGM in Myanmar.
