Companies and representing 49 Companies meantime, comprising 35
Regular members and 14 Associate members.

MIFFA offered Deputy Minister of Ministry of Transport, H.E. Col.Nyan
Htun Aung as Honorable member of Association. |

forming the Association, MIFFA attended the
ASEAN FEDERATION OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS ASSOCIATION ( AFFA ) AGM
as observer and allowed membership of AFFA in 10th AGM was held
in Hanoi, Vietnam 2001.

World Congress of FIATA, held in Bali, Indonesia on 29 Sept- 03
Oct,2003 announced MIFFA the membership of FIATA. |
| DIRECTION |
- To assist and co-operate
with Government to develop multi model transport operation.
- To co-operate with AFFA
- To take assistant of ESCAP
and UNCTAD

| OBJECTIVES |
- To support and assist in
the successful and smooth performance of int’l freight forwarding
services of the members without taking into account of benefits.
- To cooperate with the Government in promoting internationall
freight forwarding activities of Myanmar so that they will be
on a par with world standard in conformity with the economic objectives.
- To support and assist members for their successful implementation
in negotiating and entering agreements for int’l freight
forwarding.
- To endeavor for enabling to join the int’l and regional
freight forwarding service enterprises and associations and cooperation
thereof.
- To settle the disputes and solve the problems arising between
members, or between members and non-members.
- To distribute the experiences on technical know-how and information
related to int’l freight forwarding among the members.
- To carry out in conformity with the policy and guidance of the
Government.
